The Bible encourages all Christians to "pray and sing in the Spirit" or "in tongues." Both terms are used interchangeably in the Bible to refer to the same Spiritual gift from God. Praying or singing "in the Spirit" is a supernatural gift given to Christians by the Holy Spirit. This gift allows the all-knowing Holy Spirit to pray or worship effectively through us in a language that we ourselves usually cannot understand. During our services you may occasionally hear someone softly praying or singing personally in the Spirit to the Lord. You can read about this gift in the Bible in 1 Corinthians 14:14-15, Acts 2:1-21, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 19:1-6, Jude v. 20, Ephesians 6:18 and other scriptures.
Our Care Group is structured for new believers and new attendees. It provides an opportunity for fellowship with believers and a time of support, prayer, worship, and diving in to God's Word.
